Brief introductory post:
I just wanted to chronicle my efforts to play all of the AGI / SCI fangames out there.
I just wanted to chronicle my efforts to play all of the AGI / SCI fangames out there.
Who am I? My online name is (usually) suejak, and I've been playing Sierra games since I was a kid in the late '80s. I grew up with AGI and SCI adventures. Once people started making fan games in the late '90s using AGIstudio, I was inspired to give it a shot, having been into making Klik & Play (1994) games in that era already. Thus, over Memorial Day weekend 1999, as a junior high student, I created the short game Monkey Man ("Your quest: Find a man and kick him in the balls") and uploaded it to the AGI / SCI fan game mailing list, as I was looking for help with a bug at the very end. I received no advice that fixed the bug and it remains in the game to this day. However, you can enjoy my use of modified Sierra art and really feel my passion for making a game about testicular combat.
My favourite adventure games are Woodruff and the Schnibble, the Gobliiins series, the Space Quest series, and more recently, Paradigm.
